Beginner programme
For those looking to try golf for the first time, meet other people new to golf and learn skills across putting, chipping and full swing. Weekly group classes will provide a relaxed introduction to key golf skills, rules and etiquette to get you golf course ready!
Improver programme
For those with some prior golf experience who are looking to improve their golf skills on the golf course with others of similar ability. Weekly group classes will develop golf skills and introduce different playing formats in a golf course environment.
Ladies beginner programme
Ladies only classes for those looking to try golf for the first time with other like minded ladies. Weekly group classes will provide a relaxed introduction to golf skills, rules and etiquette to get you golf course ready!
Pay and Play
Spring/Summer opening hours from 7.30am - Last tee off time is 5pm
Due to current demand, it is advisable to book a tee-off time by calling us on 01582 833941 before arrival, particularly at the weekend.
Driving Range
Now open for lessons and 6 brand new practise nets for those who would like to practise their swing.
Caddie Cafe - Open to all!
Offering eat in and takeaway delicious artisian freshly ground roast Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, scrumptious local homemade cakes, hot foods including mouth watering bacon baps, sausage and onion baps, savoury croissants, toasties and other cold refreshments and snacks too.
Dogs are welcome.

Wheathampstead Golf Course is a picturesque nine hole golf course with a practice range, short game practice area and clubhouse with stunning views over the Hertfordshire countryside.
Comprising a combination of par three and par four holes it is one of the best nine hole short courses around. As a pay and play facility with no members it is the perfect venue for those either learning to play, looking to restart their interest in the game or simply for those wishing to play a fun nine holes with friends.
